I’m a communications specialist, with nearly 10 years’ experience working in various media-related roles – and a professionally trained multi-media journalist and blogger. At Public-i, I’m responsible for helping our clients develop better relationships with their online communities.
Before arriving with us, I worked as a journalist in various roles: as a reporter and sub editor at the Ham&High, a local newspaper in London, then the chief sub-editor for Time Out in the GCC states, based in Dubai.
More recently I became one of the first students to be awarded an MA in Online Journalism at Birmingham City University, studying under Paul Bradshaw. During that time I worked for Podnosh, where I organised and supported Social Media Surgeries, which in 2012 were recognised by the Prime Minister with a Big Society Award for their work building social media skills in communities.
